Introduction

MiraclePros ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website (miraclepros.com) or use the MiraclePros mobile application for iOS and Android.

Our mobile app serves two types of users who share the same app: customers, who request home and property services, and technicians, who receive and manage job offers, schedules, availability, and earnings. This policy applies to both. Where a practice applies to only one type of user, we say so.

02

Information We Collect

Personal Information You Provide

When you book a service, create an account, or contact us, we may collect:

  • Name
  • Email address (optional)
  • Phone number
  • Service address, city, state, and zip code
  • Service description and project details
  • Photos you choose to upload

Account and Authentication Information (Mobile App)

You sign in to the mobile app using your phone number and a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to you by text message. To operate the app and keep your account secure, we collect and store:

  • Your phone number and the role you sign in as
  • A one-time passcode at sign-in (stored only briefly and in encrypted/hashed form)
  • An optional display name and email address
  • A device identifier we generate to manage your secure sessions across devices
  • Authentication tokens, stored in your device's encrypted secure storage, that keep you signed in

Location Information (Mobile App)

To match service requests with nearby technicians and to dispatch jobs, we collect location information tied to a service:

  • The zip code, address, city, and state of the property where a service is requested, as entered by you
  • For technicians, the service-area radius you set, which determines the jobs you are offered

The app does not access your device's GPS or precise location, and we do not track your location in the background. Location is limited to the service address you type in.

Photos and Media (Mobile App)

Customers may upload photos of a project so technicians can prepare an accurate quote. Technicians may upload a profile photo. These images are stored with our cloud storage provider and shared as needed to schedule and perform the service.

Device and Push Notification Information (Mobile App)

With your permission, we register a push notification token for your device so we can deliver job offers, appointment reminders, message alerts, and similar notifications. We may also detect whether the app remains installed so we can fall back to text message if push notifications can no longer be delivered.

Technician Account Information

If you use the app as a technician, we also process information related to your work, including your availability and calendar, your service-area radius, performance information such as ratings and completed-job counts, the job offers and jobs assigned to you, and earnings and payout information associated with those jobs.

Invoices, Signatures, and Payment Information

When you review, sign, or pay an invoice through a secure invoice link we send you, we collect:

  • The electronic signature you provide when approving an invoice, stored with the related service record
  • Photos you choose to upload as proof of payment (for example, a receipt or check image)
  • Payment confirmation details such as the amount, date, payment method type, and the last four digits of your card

Card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your full payment card details are provided directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Stripe handles your information under its own privacy policy.

Messages and Communications

We process the content of messages you send or receive through the app and by SMS (for example, scheduling, dispatch, and support communications) so we can deliver them and keep a record of your conversation.

Technical and Usage Information

We automatically collect certain information when you visit our website or use our app:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version (website)
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent on pages (website)
  • Referring website addresses (website)
  • Limited diagnostic and error information to keep the app and site reliable
03

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, schedule, and dispatch the services you request
  • Create and secure your account and verify your identity at sign-in
  • Match customer requests with technicians and deliver job offers, schedules, and earnings information to technicians
  • Send push notifications, appointment reminders, and message alerts
  • Communicate with you about service requests, appointments, and support
  • Improve our services, app, and website functionality
  • Send promotional materials and updates (with your consent)
  • Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes
  • Prevent fraud and enhance security
04

Push Notifications

If you allow notifications, we send push notifications to deliver job offers, appointment reminders, and message alerts. Notification content may include a short preview of a message and a count of unread items. You can turn off push notifications at any time in your device settings; some time-sensitive features, such as receiving new job offers promptly, depend on them.

05

Device Permissions

The mobile app may ask for the following device permissions. Each is optional and is only used for the stated purpose:

  • Notifications: to deliver job offers, reminders, and message alerts
  • Camera and Photos: to let you upload project photos or a profile photo
06

We do NOT sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We share information only as needed to provide our services, with:

  • Messaging and SMS Providers: To send one-time passcodes, appointment and dispatch messages, and to deliver in-app messages.
